Coming from a south-facing plot, the highest in the estate (over 500m altitude) and facing the eternal snows of the Pyrenees summits, this great red wine benefits from optimal sunshine and above all from a great freshness at night which gives it a balance...royal!

Rarely have we had the opportunity to taste a Pinot Noir from the Languedoc with such structure and elegance. It is still today a reference wine for several members of our tasting committee.

A lot of aromas therefore, first raspberry on the nose, then black fruits on the palate and a beautiful long finish on blackberry and vanilla. This last aroma is the result of an ageing of about one year in new Burgundian oak barrels.

A truly exceptional red wine for a price which, given the quality, is very reasonable.

This great red wine is to be reserved for great tasty meats. A Tournedos Rossini for example or a Capon with Morels.

tout simplement hallucinant

ce vin rouge est d'une qualité rare...on ne doit pas être loin de la perfection par rapport à mes goûts avec cet Aigle Royal de Bertrand.
De la structure, des arômes à tomber par terre avec un équilibre sans faille.
Attention c'est très très bon!

    Magnifique vin rouge du Languedoc

    Personnellement je trouve cet Aigle Royal largement au dessus du vin du domaine Gérard Bertrand qui a été élu "meilleur vin du monde", mais peut-être parceque je suis fan de l'élégance des grands pinot noir...et celui-là n'a rien à envier à un bon gevrey-chambertin par exemple.
